A practical guide to participating in the Culture First Community
Welcome to the Culture First Community, a place to connect with peers, discover events and chapters, share useful resources, and keep important conversations going over time.
These guidelines are designed to make participation clear, welcoming, and useful for everyone. They apply to posts, comments, messages, events, groups, and other community spaces.
When you join, we recommend that you:
You do not need to be an expert or post frequently to belong here. Reading, reacting, asking thoughtful questions, and welcoming others are all meaningful ways to participate.
Welcome different perspectives and challenge ideas without attacking people. Harassment, discrimination, threats, hate speech, and abusive behavior are not permitted.
Share questions, experiences, resources, event information, and responses that support the community's purpose. Add enough context for others to understand why a post matters, and use clear titles when starting a discussion.
Explain acronyms and specialized language when they may not be familiar to everyone. Add context to links and images, and write in a way that makes it easy for others to follow and contribute.
Do not share personal data, confidential customer or company information, credentials, or private conversations. Do not assume that anything posted in the community is private. Share only what is appropriate for the audience and what you are comfortable with being retained or redistributed.
Relevant jobs, events, research, and resources are welcome when they provide genuine value to members. Be transparent about your connection to what you share, avoid repeated promotion, and do not use member information for unsolicited outreach or scraping.
Attribute original sources and respect copyright, permissions, and the work of others when sharing content.
Moderators may redirect conversations, ask for clarification, edit or remove content, limit access, or remove members when needed to protect the community. Please follow guidance and use the reporting or support path when something needs attention.
Ask yourself:

Share thoughtful questions, relevant experiences, useful resources, event information, and responses to other members. Keep content respectful, relevant, and appropriate for the audience.
Yes, when it is relevant and useful to members. Be transparent about your connection, avoid repeated promotion, and do not use member information for unsolicited outreach.
Do not assume that community content is private or confidential. Share only what is appropriate for the audience and what you are comfortable with being retained or redistributed.
Use the community's reporting or support option and include the relevant link and a brief description. For urgent safety, harassment, privacy, or security issues, use the designated escalation path.
Depending on the severity, frequency, and context, the community team may remove content, request a change, limit posting or messaging, suspend access, or remove a member.
Use the support contact listed in the community help resources. Include the email used to register, the page or action affected, and any error message. Never share your password.
Share the idea in the designated feedback space or contact the community team. Include why it matters and which members would benefit.
The community team will keep access instructions, support contacts, and policies current; maintain clear moderation and escalation paths; create meaningful opportunities to participate; listen for recurring friction; and apply these guidelines consistently.
We review this page quarterly and whenever the platform or community policies change.
