This quarter's book is written by our very own Chapter Lead. Come ready to talk about it.

Lead with Kokoro is the debut book by Cherry Ward, Brisbane's Culture First Chapter Lead, Executive Coach, and Co-founder of Bluebird Labs. It explores the Japanese concept of kokoro (heart, mind, and spirit as one) and what it means to lead from that place in modern organisations.

Come with questions, reflections, and your copy if you have one.

How the evening works

Grab a drink, help yourself to some nibbles, and settle in. Cherry will share a little about the book's origin and the ideas behind it, then we open the group as this is a group conversation. Expect honest discussion, a few good questions, and the kind of conversation that's hard to have anywhere else.

Come ready to explore:

• What resonated with you, and what challenged you?

• Where do you see kokoro in (or missing from) your own workplace?

• What's one thing you want to take back into your team?

Haven't read it yet? No problem, come curious. You're still very welcome.
