In 2026, an estimated 1 in 4 working adults will be responsible for caring for an aging parent. Balancing the demands of work with the needs of a loved one can create significant stress for employees.
This is a problem that is impacting your workforce, and oftentimes the issue surfaces when it is too late and there are performance and attendance problems. In this Culture First meeting, we will explore effective strategies for supporting the working caregiver and discuss how Human Resources professionals can advocate for a more compassionate, flexible, and responsive workplace.
