Icebreakers can range from fun to cringe, but even the best of them are often an afterthought. In this workshop, we’ll break down how to create connection at the start of a meeting, during an offsite, or in the middle of a work gathering, so that every activity has purpose, momentum, and impact. By focusing on icebreakers, games, and other participatory activities, we’ll give you tools to spark engagement and strengthen culture whether remote, hybrid, or in-person. You’ll walk away ready to design gatherings where everyone has a part to play!
After this truly interactive workshop you’ll be ready to:
Choose and facilitate icebreakers and games that build connection in any setting—Zoom, conference room, or offsite retreat
Design moments of play that feel inclusive, engaging, and aligned with your meeting’s purpose
Use our free template to create your own gatherings with built-in connection points
Ask the right questions to ensure every activity has impact, not just entertainment
While we facilitate this session, we’ll bring you behind the curtain—sharing the “why” behind each exercise and leaving you with inspiration to bring back to your teams and clients. With breakout discussions and space to learn from your peers here at Culture First, you’ll leave with practical tools and new ideas. Plus, yes, there will be games!
