About this event

AI for HR Month:

Across four weekly sessions, AI in HR month (September 2026) looks at how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we work, hire, and lead. We bring together practitioners and experts to cut through the hype and focus on what's actually useful for HR and People teams.

Event: Write Your Humanifesto: Name Your Unique Leadership Voice

Your real value in HR is judgment, trust, and reading a room - but the visible surface of the job (screening, coordination, admin) is exactly what AI automates first. In 75 minutes, poet and ex-Google AI strategist Lauren Ducrey helps you put words to the part of your work no machine can do, so you can name it out loud: in a performance review, with your business stakeholders, or the next time someone asks what HR is for in the age of AI.

Most AI training sessions tell you what's coming. This one puts you in the tool. You'll reflect on a moment in your career when you felt most alive, let the Reflection Lab surface the "language gems" already hiding in your own words - repeated phrases, metaphors, contrasts you never noticed - and then write your Humanifesto yourself. The AI never writes a line for you.

You'll leave with a downloadable Humanifesto: a working compass, the emotional counterpart to a performance review, naming your intrinsic motivators in language that actually sticks. It's a leadership tool you can use on yourself, run with your team, or bring to your business stakeholders on Monday morning.

What you'll leave with:

  • Your own written Humanifesto - a few unmistakable lines naming what makes you irreplaceably human, in words you'll actually remember.

  • A practice you can repeat - on yourself each quarter, with your team, or with the leaders you advise.

  • A firsthand read on using AI as a thinking mirror rather than a ghostwriter, so you can judge for yourself what's worth adopting.
